Joel graduated from The George Washington University Law School in 2023 with a concentration in family law. While in law school, he participated in the Access to Justice Clinic, assisting pro se litigants by providing legal guidance, drafting pleadings and motions, and mediating family law matters involving divorce, custody, and legal separation. Joel began his legal career in insurance defense, where he managed a high-volume caseload and gained extensive litigation experience, including conducting depositions, drafting, and arguing motions, and handling complex discovery. He later transitioned to matrimonial and family law, serving as the sole matrimonial attorney at a boutique firm. In this role, he presented clients in divorce, custody and visitation, and child support matters throughout New York City and the surrounding counties, including Westchester, Orange, Suffolk, and Nassau.
