Lidio A. Duval

Lidio specializes in complex high net worth cases involving substantial business assets and professional partnerships, alternative investments, deferred compensation, forensic accounting, among other assets and issues. In addition to his experience with difficult financial cases, he has led numerous cases involving contentious custody disputes and relocation. He also has vast experience in negotiating and drafting intricate prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Lidio earned his LL.M, magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, and his LL.B, summa cum laude and first in his class, from Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic. His early career started at a leading law firm in the Dominican Republic, counseling clients in matrimonial matters and earning recognition as a rising star and recommended lawyer in Chambers Legal 500 Latin America. Upon his relocation to New York, he landed a prestigious judicial internship in the matrimonial part of the New York County Supreme Court, where he gained invaluable experience handling sensitive family law issues.

Lidio earned the prestigious recognition of Chambers and Partners “Ones to Watch” in the 2025 Family/Matrimonial: High Net Worth guide.
