
Meghan Liu is a skilled family law attorney based in the firm’s New York office. She represents clients in all areas of matrimonial and family law, including divorce, child custody and visitation, property valuation and equitable distribution, spousal and child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, complex discovery, and privacy-related issues. Her approach is strategic, discreet, and tailored to each client’s unique personal and financial circumstances.
Meghan brings to her family law practice extensive experience in high-stakes litigation. Prior to focusing on family law, she was a commercial litigator at several leading international law firms in New York City. There, she represented individuals and major corporations across industries such as financial services, private equity, mortgage lending, software and technology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare. Her work included complex civil litigation and regulatory investigations in both state and federal courts.
Meghan earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as a student attorney in the Family Justice Clinic, was elected President of the Law and International Development Society, and was recognized as a Top Ten Oralist in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
In 2024, Meghan completed a prestigious federal clerkship with the Honorable Peggy Kuo of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, further deepening her litigation expertise.
A native Mandarin Chinese speaker, Meghan regularly works with international clients, offering culturally sensitive and bilingual legal representation. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association of New York.
